Parking at the Burn Center:
Valet Parking: Valet parking (VP) is available at the entrance of North Hospital, located at the end of College Street and E. Marshall Street, (see map below; $5 valet fee).
Patient and Visitor Parking Deck: The entrance to the parking deck (P) is located on 12th St. between Clay and Leigh Sts. Once you have parked, take the elevator to the 8th floor and walk or ride to the entrance of the Gateway Building on 12th Street (see map below). The Gateway receptionist will direct you to North Hospital. A reduced parking voucher of $2.00 is available for patients and visitors from the receptionist.
Directions to the Burn Center and Valet Parking :
Arriving by I-64 West from Virginia Beach and Williamsburg
- Take Exit 190 for 5th Street and Downtown/Coliseum.
- Turn left at the fourth traffic light onto Marshall Street.
- Marshall Street dead-ends at North Hospital on the left and the Massey Cancer Center; turn left into the driveway and leave your car with the valet.
Arriving by I-64 East from Charlottesville and I-81
- Follow I-64 East, which merges with I-95 South.
- Remain on I-95 south to Exit 74C for West Broad Street.
- Proceed west on Broad Street four blocks and make a right onto 12th Street.
- Proceed one block and make a right onto East Marshall Street.
- Marshall Street dead-ends at North Hospital on the left and the Massey Cancer Center; turn left into the driveway and leave your car with the valet.
Arriving by I-95 North from Petersburg and North Carolina
- Take Exit 74C for West Broad Street.
- Proceed west on Broad Street four blocks and make a right onto 12th Street.
- Proceed one block and make a right onto East Marshall Street.
- Marshall Street dead-ends at North Hospital on the left and the Massey Cancer Center; turn left into the driveway and leave your car with the valet.
Arriving by I-95 South from Washington and Fredericksburg
- Take Exit 74C for West Broad Street.
- Proceed west on Broad Street four blocks and make a right onto 12th Street.
- Proceed one block and make a right onto East Marshall Street.
- Marshall Street dead-ends at North Hospital on the left and the Massey Cancer Center; turn left into the driveway and leave your car with the valet.
Arriving by U.S. Route 60 from Lexington
- Follow U.S. Route 60, which merges with 9th Street.
- On 9th Street, go one block past Broad Street to Marshall Street.
- Turn right onto Marshall Street.
- Marshall Street dead-ends at North Hospital on the left and the Massey Cancer Center; turn left into the driveway and leave your car with the valet.
